UrbanBetter Accra Cityzens Hub, in partnership with the Green Africa Youth Organisation (GAYO), is seeking Run Leaders to join the Accra Cityzens for Clean Air (C4CA) project starting January 2026.
Run Leaders are citizen scientists who will organise and lead community-based running and walking activities to collect environmental health data, advocate for clean air, and promote healthy, climate-resilient public spaces in Accra.
As part of the UrbanBetter Cityzens movement, Run Leaders will:
- Mobilise communities and youth for evidence-based advocacy
- Measure air quality and other environmental factors
- Contribute to data-driven campaigns for healthier cities
- Participate in quarterly activations and storytelling activities
Position type: Part-time (initial one-year contract, renewable)
Location: Accra, Ghana
Start date: January 2026
Remuneration: USD $220 per quarter (on completion of deliverables)
